Install DevicePulse on Android

This guide is for customers who receive DevicePulse directly from Verolane.

Before you install

Download DevicePulse only from the delivery link supplied by Verolane.
Confirm the filename is DevicePulse-Android.apk.
Keep enough free storage available for the download and installation process.

Installation steps

Download DevicePulse-Android.apk using the Verolane delivery link provided after purchase.
Open the downloaded file from your browser's Downloads area or Android Files app.
If Android asks whether that browser or file manager may install unknown apps, review the request and enable installation only for the trusted app you are using to open the Verolane download.
Review Android's installation screen and choose Install.
When installation is complete, open DevicePulse.
If you enabled permission to install unknown apps, you can turn that permission back off afterward in Android Settings.

Important: Android wording and screen locations vary by device manufacturer and Android version. Do not bypass a security warning you do not understand. If Android displays an unexpected warning, stop and contact Verolane Support before proceeding.

Verify your download

For advanced verification, the release file supplied to Verolane for this build has the following SHA-256 checksum:

A matching checksum confirms that your downloaded file is byte-for-byte identical to the verified Verolane release file.

Permissions

Some DevicePulse features require Android permissions to inspect storage, files, installed-app information, notifications, or other device information needed for that feature. Review each Android permission prompt and grant only the access you understand and want to use.
