DevicePulse Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 17, 2026

DevicePulse is an Android device-management and optimization application developed by Verolane Digital Solutions. Privacy and customer control are core product requirements. DevicePulse is currently being prepared for public release, and this policy will be reviewed against the final production build before launch.

1. What DevicePulse is designed to do

DevicePulse helps users review storage use, duplicate or large files, photos, installed applications, battery and device-health information, and supported security or optimization signals. Features and required permissions can vary by Android version, device manufacturer, and the tools a user chooses to use.

2. Information DevicePulse may access

Depending on the feature you choose and the permissions you grant, DevicePulse may need access to information such as device storage statistics, file or media metadata, photos or files selected for review, installed-app information available to the application, battery or device-health information, and supported device or security-state information.

DevicePulse should request only the permissions needed to perform the feature you choose. Granting a device permission does not by itself mean the information is transmitted away from your device.

3. How information is used

Information accessed by DevicePulse is intended to be used to provide the requested device-management function, such as identifying storage-heavy items, locating potential duplicates, presenting device-health information, or helping you review cleanup opportunities.

DevicePulse is designed around a review-first principle: show the user what was found, explain it in clear language, and let the user decide what action to take.

4. Deleting files, photos, or applications

DevicePulse should not encourage blind deletion. Users should review suggested items before removing files, photos, or applications. Android permissions and manufacturer restrictions may limit which actions DevicePulse can perform directly.

5. Data sharing and service providers

Verolane does not intend to sell personal information gathered through DevicePulse or use device information for advertising based on a user's private device contents. If the production release uses third-party service providers, diagnostics, analytics, crash reporting, cloud services, or other external processing, this policy will be updated before public release to describe that processing accurately.

6. Data storage and retention

The final production build will determine which information, if any, is stored on-device or processed by external services. Verolane will document the actual storage, retention, and deletion behavior before DevicePulse is publicly released. We will not describe data as local-only unless the released technical implementation supports that claim.

7. Your choices and controls

You control Android permissions through your device settings. You can decline permissions that are not required for features you want to use, although some features may not function without the access they need. Where practical, DevicePulse will provide clear review and deletion controls for information it stores.

8. Security

Verolane aims to collect and retain as little information as practical for the features being provided and to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No software or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

DevicePulse is intended as a general device utility and is not designed specifically for children. The final release will be reviewed for any additional age-related requirements that apply to its distribution.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as DevicePulse moves from development to release, when features or service providers change, or when legal or platform requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
