PlanForge is a task-planning application. This policy explains what information PlanForge collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.
Information we collect
When you create an organization or user account, we collect:
- Account info: email address, display name (optional), and a password. Your password is never stored in plain text — only a one-way cryptographic hash.
- Organization info: your organization's name and the email address the license was issued to.
- Task data: titles, dates, durations, priorities, and completion status of the tasks you create. This data is visible only to members of your own organization.
- Anthropic API key: each organization supplies its own Anthropic API key to power AI-assisted scheduling features. This key is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and is only decrypted server-side to make requests to Anthropic's API on your behalf.
- Account recovery data: a hashed offline recovery code, and short-lived, single-use password reset codes (emailed to you only when you request a password reset).
What we don't do
- We don't run analytics or ad-tracking SDKs in the app.
- We don't sell or share your data with data brokers or advertisers.
- We don't access your task content except as needed to operate the service or respond to a support request you initiate.
Third parties
- Anthropic: when you use AI-assisted scheduling, relevant task text is sent to Anthropic's API using your organization's own API key, subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Email delivery: if you request a password reset, a one-time code is sent to your email address via our transactional email provider, solely to deliver that code.
Data isolation
Each organization's data is isolated from every other organization on the same server — team members can only see tasks and calendars within their own organization.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your organization's account is active. To request deletion of your account or organization's data, contact us at the email below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
